1. Introduction

AMS Parts is a UK-based business supplying genuine and OEM spare parts for industrial engines, generators, and related equipment. We support a wide range of global brands and serve business customers worldwide.

These Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy (together, these "Terms") apply to all use of our website (www.amsparts.co.uk) and to all transactions between AMS Parts and our customers. By using our website or engaging with us, you agree to these Terms.

Business-to-business only. These Terms apply to business-to-business (B2B) transactions only. AMS Parts does not contract with consumers (private individuals purchasing for personal, non-business use). By submitting a quote request or placing an order, you confirm that you are acting on behalf of a business or in a professional capacity.

2. How We Work

AMS Parts does not operate an online checkout system. All purchases follow this process:

• Online enquiry or direct contact
• Custom quotation prepared by us
• Order confirmation in writing and payment
• Invoice issued upon transaction

No contract is formed until a formal quote has been accepted in writing and full payment has been received. Orders are only processed once payment is confirmed.

3. Returns and Refunds (B2B)

We accept returns within 7 days of the delivery date, subject to the conditions below and to the manufacturer's acceptance of the parts. Return and refund eligibility ultimately depends on the manufacturer's policy, which varies from part to part.

To be eligible:

• Items must be unused, undamaged, and in their original packaging.
• The buyer must notify us in writing (by email or letter) within the 7-day period.
• Return shipping is at the buyer's cost unless we have explicitly agreed otherwise in writing.

Refunds:

• Refunds are processed after inspection of returned items as per the manufacturer's policy.
• Original delivery charges are non-refundable except where we have made an error or the goods are defective, as per mutual agreement.
• Refunds will be issued to the original payment method, as per mutual agreement.
• Please allow additional time for your bank or card issuer to process the refund. Any additional bank processing charges incurred by the customer will be borne by the customer.

Non-returnable items:

• Any part the manufacturer has designated as non-returnable cannot be returned. This is determined by the manufacturer's policy.
• For reconditioned (remanufactured) parts supplied with a core deposit, the returned core must be in a serviceable, reconditionable condition for the core deposit to be refunded.
• Where the manufacturer treats a reconditioned part as non-refundable, that part is non-refundable, in line with the manufacturer's policy.
• Custom or special-order parts
• Personalised items
• Sale or clearance items
• Perishable or hazardous goods

If an item arrives damaged or incorrect, you must contact us within 48 hours of delivery with supporting photographic evidence so we can investigate and arrange resolution.

4. Warranty Disclaimer

All goods are sold based on information provided by the purchaser regarding engine model, serial number, or application. AMS Parts is not responsible for incorrect parts ordered as a result of inaccurate or incomplete information provided by you.

Where applicable, manufacturer or OEM warranties may apply to parts we supply. Please contact us for specific warranty coverage on individual items.

5. Use of Website Content

All text, images, data, and logos on this site are the intellectual property of AMS Parts or their respective owners and may not be copied or reused without our written consent.

AMS Parts is not an official dealer or affiliate of the brands mentioned on this site unless explicitly stated. Brand names and logos are used only to identify the goods we supply and remain the property of their respective owners.

9. Shipping and Delivery

AMS Parts offers shipping solutions for both domestic and international customers. Specific delivery terms are agreed at the time of quotation.

General shipping terms:

• Orders are dispatched only after full payment and confirmation of goods availability.
• Transit times vary by destination, carrier, and method.
• We use reputable courier and freight services with tracking provided where applicable.

Delivery methods:

• Standard courier (within UK)
• Freight forwarding (bulk or industrial shipments)
• Customer-arranged pickup (Ex Works / EXW) from our designated location

For EXW collections, we will provide accurate weights, dimensions, packaging details, the collection address, and readiness confirmation.

We are not responsible for delays caused by customs clearance, carrier disruptions, or incorrect consignee details. Any duties, VAT, or import taxes incurred at the destination are the responsibility of the buyer.

Damaged shipments must be reported within 48 hours of delivery with supporting photographic evidence, or claims may not be accepted.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the end of this document will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of our website or services following an update constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Jurisdiction

These Terms and any disputes arising from them are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any legal proceedings must be brought in the courts of England and Wales.
